Welcome to Zone Light Inc.. By accessing or using our website (zonelight.com) and services including web hosting, SEO, VPN, and WordPress website building, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Definitions

"Company", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Zone Light Inc., a company based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. "You" or "Client" refers to the individual or entity using our services. "Services" refers to web hosting, domain registration, SEO, VPN, WordPress building, and any other products offered by Zone Light Inc.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

  • Hosting, distributing, or linking to illegal content, malware, phishing, or spam
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
  • Engaging in denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized access attempts
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) through our servers
  • Using excessive server resources that disrupt service for other clients
  • Hosting adult content involving minors or non-consensual material

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately for violations of this section without prior notice or refund.

4. Payment Terms

  • Billing: Services are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed through secure third-party gateways.
  • Late Payments: Invoices are due on the date specified. Services may be suspended 5 days after a missed payment and terminated 30 days after suspension.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions renew at the current rate unless you cancel before renewal.
  • Taxes: Applicable sales taxes (GST/QST) will be added for Canadian clients.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Monthly Plans: Cancel anytime. No refunds for partial months. Service continues through the end of the current billing period.
  • Annual Plans: Cancel within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. After 30 days, no prorated refunds. Service continues through the end of the annual term.
  • SEO Services: Month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel anytime. No refunds for completed work or credits already consumed.
  • VPN Services: 7-day money-back guarantee on all plans. No refunds after 7 days.
  • Domain Registrations: Non-refundable once registered. Domain registration fees are paid to registries and cannot be recovered.
  • How to Cancel: Submit a cancellation request through your client area or contact support. Cancellations are processed within 24 hours.

6. Service Level

We strive for 99.9% uptime on all hosting and VPN services. See our Service Level Agreement (SLA) for details on uptime guarantees, credits, and exclusions.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Our IP: The Zone Light name, logo, website design, and proprietary software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
  • Your Content: You retain all rights to content you upload, publish, or display through our services. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to host and serve your content.
  • DMCA: We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. To file a DMCA notice, contact us through our support channels with detailed information about the allegedly infringing content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zone Light Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zone Light Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for payment processing, domain registration, SSL certificates, and other functions. These services have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. We may delete your data 30 days after termination. You are responsible for backing up your data before cancellation.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through your client area. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
